HOW COULD THE STUDIO OR STUDIO+ SPACE WORK FOR MY EVENT?
A couple of brief examples of how the space may be used to present your messaging are outlined on the Studio and Studio+ pages of this site. However, in summary, whether you are looking to host an awards ceremony, a conference event, product launch or even music festival, the Studios offer you a space, the production value and optional add-ons to ensure a high quality and engaging virtual event. The flexibility of the LED screen backdrop and size of the space allows for a great deal of individuality and creativity to portray your event to your virtual audience. Add-ons from our Services page such as audience engagement tools help with getting that all-important interactivity and audience feedback that often makes a live event so great.
As we all know, every event is different and needs to be different to encourage attendance and interaction and one size doesn’t fit all. We would love to discuss more about the individual needs of your event and how the Studio can be tailored to reflect your brand and event messaging.
HOW ARE YOU KEEPING THE SPACE SAFE?
We are keen to provide an exciting space to allow the presentation of events to continue in some format but the safety of our guests to the space and our fantastic team remains the top priority. We have put into place a number of measures to ensure the safety of all on-site, a few of which are outlined below:
A designated entrance is assigned to you and your team which is cleaned at appropriate intervals.
Hand sanitizer is available on the premises
Only the essential team members will have access to the studio space to keep possible contamination to a minimum
All studio equipment you may come into contact with such as microphones and slide clickers are disinfected after every person has touched these
Hosts will be asked to collect their microphones and attach these themselves with clear instructions from the audio engineer of how to do so to avoid close contact
We ask that all scripts, running orders and content is sent to us via email/file transfer to limit the handling of paperwork, USBs and hard-drives between multiple staff members
Tea & coffee making facilities and green room spaces are cleaned at regular intervals
The private studio environment and use of comms & talkback equipment should limit the requirement for anyone to have to approach tech desks with questions
Lighting, vision and audio controls have been setup at appropriate distances to allow our team to keep as safe as possible

CAN WE HAVE A STUDIO AUDIENCE?
Sadly not. Whilst our 230sqm studio environment is spacious and allows for necessary social distancing, we ask that you limit attendees to the essential event organising team and your hosts/presenters to allow us to keep you and our team as safe as possible.
If you are looking to hold a hybrid event with a small audience and an online audience, we would highly recommend booking space with one of our fantastic venue partners that has the room to accommodate your live audience safely, then we would be delighted to provide a stage set and live streaming equipment to support the hybrid event at the venue location. Please contact our team to discuss options in more detail.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
1. Get in touch to discuss your event and arrange a site visit or virtual tour.
If you think the Studio could be of use for your next event, please get in touch with the team to check availability and discuss your event requirements in more detail. We can arrange for a site-visit or tour of the space if you would like to take a look before confirming.
2. Put a date in the diary and ‘meet’ with our project managers to discuss the finer details.
Once a date/s have been put in the diary and we have an overview of your event requirements, we would then book a call between you or your organising team and our Project Managers to discuss the finer details such as the registration process, livestream hosting platforms, any prerecorded sessions that may need to take place, any expected live presenters from remote locations, any external platforms that may need to be brought in, the expected run times of your event and offer any suggested or advice we may have in relation to any of these areas.
3. Firm up content and finer details.
When a firmer plan of the running of the event is in place, we would look to firm up the content for the event including any videos, slides and animations to be used. Screen content is arguably even more crucial in the virtual environment than the live as there are no other external cues to keep the audience attention so impactful content and graphics are key. If you don’t have the facilities to create these, we can support with this too.
4. Send across any content, scripts and running orders ahead of your event date.
Finally, ahead of your event date, we request that all content, scripts and running orders are sent to us via email or file transfers to avoid the handling of paperwork or external devices for our staff. We would also request a list of expected personnel from your team that are due to be on site during your event so that we can ensure access is kept secure and safe.
I HAVE BOOKED A VENUE FOR MY EVENT AND CAN’T /DON’T WANT TO CANCEL THE BOOKING. CAN YOU HELP WITH A STUDIO SETUP AT MY VENUE?
That’s great! The Sterling Studio is here for those that don’t feel a larger venue environment is quite right for them at the moment but we are excited to support our venue friends as much as possible and can offer a studio-style setup in any space, from simple printed backdrops, TV screens to host content and single camera setups, all the way up to more high-tech offerings like the Sterling Studio.
